Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) Amersfoort - Meander Medisch Centrum and Heijmans have entered into an agreement to jointly prepare the construction of a new hospital on the Maatweg in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. It is a step towards final contract award. Together with the architect, Atelier Pro, Heijmans and Meander will start work on optimizing the currently available design. During the coming months the parties will investigate how the building can be constructed and at what cost.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) Sustainable energy system for Buurtstede residential district ''s-Hertogenbosch - Heijmans Infrastructure was selected by Duurzame Energie Veenendaal-Oost (DEVO) to design and build a sustainable energy facility for the new Buurtstede residential district in Veenendaal Oost. The award also includes a thirty-year maintenance contract. Residents are expected to save at least 15 percent on their energy bills as a result of the energy system. The contract is valued at over € 21 million, including a thirty-year maintenance contract valued at over €10 million.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's Hertogenbosch - Breda - Heijmans N.V. and SPIE Nederland B.V. have reached final agreement concerning the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Heijmans Industrieservice B.V. (Industrial Services - HIS).

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - Effective 1 October 2008, Mr. Paul Overakker will step down as Chairman of the Management Board of the Infrastructure Division. As previously communicated, effective 1 October 2008, the Netherlands activities of the Infrastructure Division will be placed under the leadership of Mr. Gerrit Witzel. Effective 1 October 2008, Mr. Witzel will be a member of the Executive Board of Heijmans N.V. Effective 1 October 2008, Mr. Ton Vaags will step down as the Chairman of the Management Board of the Building Division. Furthermore, Mr. Gradus will step down as a member of the Management Board of the Building Division. Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - Mr. Ton Hillen and Mr. Bert van der Els will be appointed Concern Directors (non statutory) of Heijmans as of October 1st. Bert van der Els is currently President of the division Heijmans Technical Services (Burgers Ergon). Ton Hillen is currently President of the division Heijmans Property Development.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - The Supervisory Board of Heijmans N.V. intends to appoint Mr. Gerrit Witzel as a member of the Executive Board of Heijmans N.V. effective 1 October 2008. Mr. Witzel (57 years) possesses extensive and in-depth experience in the civil works contracting sector. Between 1998-2008 he was chairman of the Strukton Groep N.V.'s Executive Board.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) On the initiative of the Supervisory Board of Heijmans N.V. it has been agreed that Mr. Jacques van den Hoven will resign from the Board of management as per 1 October 2008.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) While revenues increased by 2%, Heijmans' profit after tax for the first six months of 2008 dropped to €2 million (1st half 2007: €19 million). Losses incurred by the Building and Infrastructure divisions in the Netherlands and by building and property development activities in Belgium depressed the result. The Property Development and Technical Services divisions in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Franki Grundbau in Germany posted good results. In spite of the poor results, Heijmans amply met its financing ratios at the end of June 2008.
