Olaroz Q1 2016 Production on Target
Brisbane, April 12, 2016 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Orocobre Limited (
ASX:ORE) (TSE:ORL) (Orocobre or the Company) wishes to advise on production for Q1 2016 at the Olaroz Lithium Facility.
Production for the quarter was 2,332 tonnes of lithium carbonate, in line with the guidance of ~2,400 tonnes (97% achieved).
The Company intends to transition to quarterly forecasting and quarterly reporting.
Further detail in relation to the Olaroz Lithium Facility will be provided in the upcoming quarterly report.

This new hydroxide plant will be the first of its kind in Japan and will provide Orocobre product diversification suitable for different battery technologies and the potential for significant margin growth on our primary lithium carbonate being converted to battery grade lithium hydroxide.
