Empire Oil & Gas (ASX:EGO)(PINK:EOLGF) Announce the current operations at the Star Finch-1 well as of 2400 hours 14 July, installing blow out prevention equipment.

Empire Oil & Gas (ASX:EGO)(PINK:EOLGF) Announce the current operations at the Star Finch-1 well at 0900 hours on 9 July 2008 is drilling ahead in 311mm (12 1/4") hole at 55 metres depth. Planned operations in the next 24 hours, will be drilling ahead in 12 1/4" hole to approximately 100 metres where the 244mm (9 5/8") casing will be run and cemented. This 'top hole' drilling operation will be undertaken only in daylight hours.

Empire Oil & Gas (ASX:EGO)(PINK:EOLGF) Announce the Star Finch-1 well commenced drilling (spudded) at 0600 hours on 8 July, 2008 upon drilling out the 13 3/8" conductor set at a depth of 19 metres. The current operations at 0900 hours on 8 July 2008 is drilling ahead in 311mm (12 1/4") hole at 27 metres depth. Planned operations in the next 24 hours, will be drilling ahead in 12 1/4" hole.

Crossland Uranium Mines Ltd ASX:CUX) is pleased to advise that Crosscontinental Uranium Ltd (XCO), an unlisted company incorporated in Canada and owned 50% by Crossland, and 50% by Pancontinental Uranium Corp (CVE:PUC) has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Southern Cross Exploration NL (ASX:SXX) and Longreach Oil Ltd (ASX:LGO) regarding the Oursi Project in Burkina Faso. SXX (and LGO indirectly) hold two granted permits for uranium exploration: "Tin Dioulaf" No 07-205 and "Agalsa" No 07-209 located in north eastern Burkina Faso.

Empire Oil & Gas N.L. (ASX:EGO)(PINK:EOLGF) is pleased to provide an update of the drilling of the Star Finch-1 well located near Carnarvon, Western Australia.

The Star Finch-1 well is scheduled to be drilled in EP 460 in June 2008 followed by the Lake MacLeod-1 well in EP 461/EP 439 in July 2008 with Government and other approvals to also drill an Appraisal well, Star Finch-2, on a Star Finch-1 discovery.
