Appoints Gary Munitz as Managing Director
Sydney, July 13, 2015 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Leading big data solutions company Invigor Group Limited (
ASX:IVO) ("Invigor") has appointed widely renowned digital technology expert Gary Munitz as its Managing Director. Mr. Munitz will step up from his current role as Invigor's head of product development. Mr Munitz has been integral to Invigor's development in recent years having been a non-executive director between 2012 and 2014 and an executive since 1 July 2014.
Mr. Munitz founded the Global Group in 1997 and is highly regarded as a web entrepreneur. He has previously held significant development roles in building Menulog and Get Price. Menulog was recently acquired by its British rival JUST EAT for $855 million while Get Price was sold to News Limited in a series of transactions between 2007 and 2010. Invigor completed its acquisition of Global Group during 2014.
Invigor Group's personalised online shopping assistant product Shopping Ninja and the Insight Retail range of solutions were developed by Mr. Munitz.
Invigor's Executive Chairman, Mr Gary Cohen said: "We are thrilled Gary has decided to take on this leadership role. His experience in commercialising tech start-ups will prove invaluable and complement the growth strategy of Invigor as we pursue delivery of value to shareholders."
Mr. Cohen will remain as Executive Chairman of Invigor and maintain his role in driving business development efforts.

Mr. Munitz has more than 15 years' experience in digital technology as well as possessing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Science, Computational and Applied Mathematics.
