iSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) Welcomes UK Government Health White Paper

Sydney, July 14, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - iSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) said today it welcomes the measures outlined in the UK government's white paper, 'Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS', released on 12 July.

iSOFT strongly agrees with the government's vision to give the patient greater choice and control over their healthcare. In particular, iSOFT supports plans to give the patient access to the information needed to make informed decisions about their care. iSOFT also has the goal of placing the patient at the heart of their healthcare journey and believes that good quality patient data is key to improving healthcare outcomes.
