Sydney, Dec 22, 2006 AEST (ABN Newswire) - IBA Health Limited (ASX: IBA) Australia's largest ASX listed eHealth company announced the extension of a licence agreement with Australia's leading operator of multidisciplinary medical centres Independent Practitioner Network Limited (ASX: IPN) valued at $2.25 million for the ongoing use of IBA's health information technology which is implemented across all of IPN's medical centres.
IPN is Australia's only community-based medical centre provider with a national footprint, working in partnership with over 600 independent clinicians, supporting the provision of over 3.5 million patient consultations per annum. IBA, together with IPN, have established a world-class advanced wide - area enabled healthcare infrastructure and application platform that supports the delivery of healthcare in a multi practice, multidisciplinary environment. IBA's Enterprise platform gives IPN the capability to grow its network in a robust and rapid, cost effective way as to aid in its expansion phase.
