Appoints General Manager, Commercial Markets
Sydney, July 30, 2012 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Australian Power & Gas Company Limited (
ASX:APK), Australia's leading independent residential energy retailer, today announced that Grant Long has joined the company as General Manager, Commercial Markets.
Mr Long, a former Energy Australia, Telstra and Ernst & Young executive, will focus on developing opportunities for the company outside its current residential customer base.

Mr Long's career includes sales and business development appointments with Energy Australia, Telstra, Dimension Data and Mars. Most recently, he was associate director, business development for Ernst & Young, focusing on strategic growth markets.
Previously, Mr Long was account director for Dimension Data's SingTel Optus account, business development manager for managed service solutions and national business development director for unified communications. He has an MBA from UTS, majoring in management, and an associate diploma of electrical engineering.
