iSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) Renews A Contract Worth A$5.9 Million For A Primary Care Solution Deal In Spain

Sydney, July 20, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - iSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) Australia's largest listed health information technology company today announced that it renewed a contract, worth EUR3.33 million (A$5.9 million), to support and maintain its regional primary care solution with the Castilla la Mancha Healthcare Service (SESCAM) in Spain for a further four years.

The agreement includes services, training and maintenance of Turriano, a robust regional primary care solution developed by iSOFT. Turriano is based on iSOFT's e-SIAP solution, and was developed under a 2003 SESCAM contract.

Turriano links some 200 care centres and more than 1,100 GP surgeries that make up the primary healthcare network across the SESCAM region. About 14,000 family doctors, nurses and other clinical professionals use the software to manage 113,000 appointments and 150,000 prescriptions daily to improve the quality of healthcare services for the region's more than 2 million patients.
