Perth, April 22, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Anglo Australian Resources NL (ASX:AAR)(PINK:AAURF) The Feysville Project is based on two wholly owned mining leases located 16km SSE of Kalgoorlie. The leases are situated in the geological / structural corridor, bounded by the Boulder Lefroy Fault, that hosts the world class gold deposits of Mt Charlotte, Fimiston, New Celebration, Victory-Defiance, Junction, Argo and Revenge / Belleisle of St Ives as well as other smaller deposits such as the 60,000oz Hannans South deposit (located 3km north of Feysville).

The Rogan Josh Prospect is a significant under-explored target. Previous drilling by Western Mining over portion of the target area returned intersections including 8m @ 3.3g/t Au, 2m @ 8.8g/t Au and 2m @ 4.28g/t Au. Anglo Australian now interprets the Western Mining intersections as indicating excellent potential exists for defining a 2-8m thick sub-horizontal zone of supergene gold mineralisation at a depth of about 30m over a strike length of about 700m and width of up to 100m. The zone of supergene mineralisation probably overlies primary gold mineralisation in the Hannans South Shear Zone. Consequently, the Rogan Josh Prospect has strong geological similarities to the Hannans South deposit, a sub-horizontal supergene deposit overlying the Hannans South Shear, which was mined during the 1980s.

The Rogan Josh Prospect presents a compelling target for shallow supergene mineralisation and associated deeper primary bedrock mineralisation. The potential of the prospect is enhanced by its proximity to various processing plants in the general Kalgoorlie region. A drilling programme of reverse circulation drillholes for 1000m is planned to test the supergene gold zone as well as the deeper bedrock potential. Drilling will commence as soon as approvals for the Company's work program is received from the Department of Minerals and Petroleum.
