BLAIR NORTH PROSPECT E25/268 - EAST KALGOORLIE PROJECT, WESTERN AUSTRALIA (Northern Mining earning 75%, Cazaly Resources 25%, ASX: CAZ)

The current follow-up 23 hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling programme has intersected more high grade gold (13 metres @ 4.74g/t Au including 3 metres @ 9.78g/t Au, 6 metres @ 3.45g/t Au and 1m @ 6.17g/t Au) and confirmed the dip extent (both up and down dip) of the high grade intersection (25m @ 4.05 g/t including 10m @ 8.39 g/t) previously encountered in BNRC010 (Figure 1, Table 1).

Drilling on sections 6590270N and 6590320N, 50 and 100 metres to the north, have encountered minor intersections suggesting that the gold mineralisation may be plunging steeply to the west.

Executive Chairman Mr Alan Lockett commented "NMI is very fortunate indeed to have exciting high grade intersections for both gold and nickel at Blair North. This project is shaping up to be dual commodity focused (gold and nickel), enjoying the potential of mining nickel sulphides and having gold within a few hundred metres, providing a natural hedge against future effects of inflation".

RC drilling is currently being carried out at the Blair North, Snake Hill and Hake prospects. Diamond drilling is planned for later this year to confirm the plunge direction and extent of the high grade shoots at E25/268, Blair North.
