Sydney, Oct 29, 2007 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Unilife Medical Solutions (ASX: UNI) announce their 2007 Annual report with the following highlights:

- Signing of an exclusive agreement with one of the world's largest pharmaceutical groups in December 2006 to develop the UnitractTM Prefilled Syringe for one of its major drug products. After a successful review of product specifications in July 2007, both parties are now finalizing an extension of this agreement.

- The acquisition of Integrated BioSciences Inc (IBS), a medical device contract manufacturer with FDA-registered facilities in Pennsylvania, in October 2006.

- Signing of an exclusive agreement with MedPro Safety Products in May 2007 to manufacture at least 100 million units of its safety blood collection devices. Unilife anticipates revenues of at least $20 million via a MedPro agreement with Greiner BioOne.

- Initial production of 1mL UnitractTM syringes at KDL in China in April 2007, and the completion of automated assembly systems at IBS in October 2007.

- Regulatory approval of Unitract syringes in Canada, Europe and Australia.

- Certification of Unilife to ISO 13485, the international quality benchmark for medical devices.

- Rationalisation of component production activities in June 2007 with the transfer of injection moulding tooling from Sydney to the New York facilities of Tessy Plastics. High volume component production at Tessy is now under way.

- Appointment of exclusive distribution partners for the sale of its Unitract syringes within Canada and Taiwan, with discussions in a number of other target countries now taking place.

- Generation of multiple revenue streams such as IBS, MedPro and the pharmaceutical partner.

- Significant progress made in its US expansion plans, including a possible US listing.
