Sydney, June 28, 2007 AEST (ABN Newswire) - IBA Health Limited (ASX: IBA) - Australia's largest listed eHealth company, today announced that Cabrini Health has signed a licence and services agreement and a three year maintenance and support agreement valued in excess of $1.5 million to implement IBA's Web based patient management system.
Cabrini Health, a Victorian catholic private not for profit hospital group which provides one of the finest clinical services in the world, comprises five sites with over 600 beds - two acute care hospitals, a palliative care service and a residential care facility.
IBA's health information technology will be used to streamline the group's current administration processes, integrating patient management, billing, theatre management electronic discharge and back-office functionality within a single suite of software.
Judith Day from Cabrini (Chief Financial Officer) said, "This investment will replace our existing in-house developed systems and provide Cabrini Health with the technology platform to support our long-term growth plans.
