Sydney, May 1, 2007 AEST (ABN Newswire) - IBA Health Limited (ASX:IBA)(IBATF.PK) Australia's largest ASX listed eHealth company announced today the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Healthe International to collaborate and jointly market health information technology that will provide individuals, health professionals and care providers, with access to secure online personal health records, including online disease management programs and care plans in Australasia, South East Asia, China and the Middle East.
In addition Healthe, Australia's largest privately-owned private hospital group, will sign a $1.5 million licence agreement and a five year maintenance and services agreement valued at over $300,000 to implement IBA's health information technology across Healthe's nine Australian hospitals.

Healthe's personal health record will auto-populate from IBA's patient administration software so that patients leave our hospitals with their own health record which they can view and share anytime anywhere".
Healthe is an emerging private hospital operator in Australia, with a growth plan that includes expansion into South East Asia and the Middle East. Healthe will implement IBA's solutions in a single data centre that will deliver health information technology to business and clinical staff responsible for managing close to 1000 private inpatient beds, over 250,000 patient bed days and performing more than 500,000 surgical procedures across nine facilities.
IBA and Healthe will collaborate to further develop and jointly market a model for supplying 'onDemand Patient Administration Systems and Financial Solutions'; a pay as you use facility to independent hospital providers, day surgery operators and clinic based health professionals - a market in Australia that exceeds over 400 operators.
