Paris, Aug 28, 2006 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Mipim Asia, the world's property market in Asia-Pacific, will host a number of exhibitors presenting a highly diversified range of very large-scale projects.
With 25 countries attending, 115 exhibiting companies and over 1,200 delegates, MIPIM Asia, will be held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong from the 27th to 29th September 2006. It promises to provide a platform for discussions and negotiations for all property professionals wishing to develop in this region.
Among the exhibitor companies will be:
- Japan Hayakawa Architectural Design (Japan) - this architects practice, widely known for projects that combine modern design, technology and the environment, was founded in Tokyo in 1990 and opened a branch in Shanghai in 2004. Among ongoing projects is the impressive hotel centre planned for the Shanghai EXPO in 2010.
- Incheon (South Korea) - a free trade zone located 30 minutes from Seoul in the heart of the urban triangle of Songdo, Yeongjong and Cheongna, this business centre is one of the country's most promising sites with the current development of a major logistics platform, transport network and tourist industry. The project is due to be completed in 2020.
- Kuala Lumpur Sentral (Malaysia) - an urban area alongside the largest Malaysian transport center. This development is opening up excellent opportunities for investment, business and international life style. Current projects include the Susana Sentral Loft luxury condominiums planned for 2006, the Lot N tower and the leisure centre also programmed for 2007.
- K Raheja Corp (India) - known throughout India for its futuristic business park developments, large shopping centres, hypermarkets and hotels, the company has also developed a number of retail chains, such as Shoppers' Stop (real estate outlets), Crossword (a bookshop chain) and Hypercity (hypermarkets). They have also created the concept of 'Mindspace' offices already in existence in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
- Swire Properties Ltd. (China) - an affiliate since 1972 of Swire Pacific, the leading Hong Kong real estate developer, Swire Properties Ltd. is expanding in China with the impressive complex of Taikoo Hui on its agenda. Located in the Tianhe district in Canton, this 450,000 sq. m. complex will become a major property centre comprising luxury offices, 5-star hotels and an arts centre. It is due to be completed in 2009.
- La Raffine 1989 Co. Ltd. (Thailand) - a real estate developer and investor since 1989, specialized in luxury condominiums. Emphasizing quality over quantity, it offers exclusive accommodation in luxury residences in the middle of Bangkok such as the Sukhumvit 24, a 30-floor building containing 54 incredible 2-storey apartments with private pools. Other projects include Jampu Dvipa 39, Jambunuda, and Chaam.
- Woodhead (Australia) - this well-known architects' practice is competing for the creation of the new city neighborhood of Diamond Island in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). To address this ambitious project, the company is highlighting its competencies and experience to design a neighborhood integrating the entire range of architectural, cultural, and environmental aspects, creating a space in which it is pleasant to both live and work.
- Sentosa Cove (Singapore) - a magnificent, 117-hectare seafront enclave in the east of Singapore, this area is the only opportunity for foreign investors to acquire private property. The sale of lots and residences has just begun, with a target of 2,500 residences programmed for 2010.
