SAI Global Limited Stock Market Press Releases and Company Profile

Sydney, July 5, 2006 AEST (ABN Newswire) - The release of the SAI Global (ASX: SAI) - Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Survey of Investor Confidence confirms that Australian investment conditions remain strong.

The survey of Australian industries indicated that Australian business is confident that the economy can expect growth based on solid fundamentals.

Covering the April to June 2006 period, the Survey had over 795 respondents from leading Australian businesses in the mining, manufacturing, construction, retail/wholesale trade, accommodation, restaurant and services industries.

Mr Peter Hendy, Chief Executive, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that despite the decrease in sales and profit growth, the Australian economy is set for growth.

"The survey shows that business conditions remain good and on track to deliver sound economic growth over 2006. The economy does not look like overheating and the tax cuts delivered this week will be well received by business and give employees a real pay increase."

Mr Tony Scotton, Acting Chief Executive Officer, SAI Global, said the survey demonstrates that Australia provides a sound choice for foreign investment.

"The survey shows that business sales growth, the investment climate and Australian economic conditions continue to rate in positive territory. This confirms our expectation that investors remain confident in Australia's viability as an investment hub."
