SAI Global Limited (ASX: SAI) - OCCAM Bytes into UK software reseller market

Norwich, Sep 26, 2005 AEST (ABN Newswire) - SAI Global Limited's (ASX: SAI) compliance services arm, Easy i, has entered the software reseller market through a deal with Bytes Technology Group, the UK's third largest solution provider certified by Microsoft.

The deal will see Bytes provide Easy i's Learning Management System [LMS] software OCCAM to clients who purchase or renew their Enterprise Agreement with Bytes as the reseller as of October 2005.

The Chief Executive of SAI Global Limited, Mr Ross Wraight, said: "Traditionally, OCCAM has been part of an end-to-end training and awareness solution however this deal forms part of our strategy to market OCCAM as a product in its own right"

According to the CEO of Easy i, Mr Terry Hancock: "Clients who choose to purchase or renew their Enterprise Agreement with Bytes will receive added value in the form of a more accessible Microsoft eLearning Library."

The Microsoft eLearning Library provides clients with an extensive range of on-line interactive learning courses on Microsoft desktop and server software.

According to Mr Hancock: "Under the deal, we will be providing a fully managed service including the hosting of a dedicated portal for each client backed by extensive technical support."

"By using the hosted OCCAM Learning Management System platform clients can distribute and track eLearning courses from other content suppliers, including Easy i"s range of compliance solutions and those from other major catalogue providers."
