Vaisala Oyj (HEL:VAI1V) Vaisala will provide the Russian Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Roshydromet) with state-of-the-art surface weather monitoring technology. Vaisala is partnering with a local Russian integrator, Lanit, in the delivery project. The value of the contract is 4.7 million euros, and deliveries start during 2008.

Vaisala Oyj (HEL:VAI1V) Helsinki/Boulder - Vaisala has signed a 6.9 MUSD contract with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the delivery of weather radar signal processors and software for the FAA Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) network, operating at major airports in the USA. The deliveries will start during the last quarter of 2008.
