Exploration is for predominantly Ernest Henry and Eloise style Cu-Au mineralisation within basement units of the Mount Isa Inlier either exposed or concealed by ~50-175 m of Mesozoic sediments. Minotaur has 35 tenements (granted and applications).
Minotaur Exploration Limited (ASX:MEP) is pleased to report the results of drilling at the Cotswold and Cormorant Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG) targets north of Cloncurry under joint venture with JOGMEC, the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation. The 5-hole program tested a range of gravity, magnetic and electrical geophysical targets with broad zones of low-level copper mineralisation recorded in each of the drillholes, confirming the area's potential.
