In 2007, China has become the world's largest producer in solar cells and the global output this year reached 4000.5 MWp. It is estimated that nearly 50 companies in China are constructing, expanding or planning Siemens improved production lines of polycrystalline silicon. The overall output is over 100,000 tons; the total investment is RMB 100 billion. China produced 1088 MWp solar cells in 2007, exceeding that of Japan (920MWp) and Europe (1062MWp).

QRSciences Continue Innovation with Advanced Metal Detection System
