Offer for Central Australian Phosphate
Perth, Sep 13, 2013 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Rum Jungle Resources Limited (
ASX:RUM) ("Rum Jungle Resources") intends to extend the offer period for its off-market takeover bid for all the fully paid ordinary shares in Central Australian Phosphate Limited. The offer is currently scheduled to close on 20 September 2013.
The Offer is unconditional and accepting shareholders will be paid no later than 10 business days after the shareholder's acceptance has been processed or instructions received.
As at 7.00pm on 12 September 2013, Rum Jungle Resources had received acceptances in respect of 80.25% of Central Australian Phosphate shares.
As Rum Jungle Resources has obtained a holding of at least 80% of Central Australian Phosphate shares, Central Australian Phosphate shareholders who have accepted the offer may now be entitled to select scrip for scrip rollover relief for part of the capital gain. See section 7 of the Bidder's Statement for further information.
Rum Jungle Resources intends to extend the period during which the takeover bid remains open for acceptance until 7.00pm (Melbourne time) on Friday, 11 October 2013 (unless extended further).
Rum Jungle Resources strongly encourages Central Australian Phosphate shareholders to accept the Offer as it will allow those shareholders to realise cash value for their investment and to share in the future upside of the combined company.
