On January 24th, 2011, HTX Minerals Corp has entered into a re-newed strategic alliance arrangement with Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (JNB:IMP) (PINK:IMPUY), the world's second largest primary platinum producer. The alliance will focus on PGE-Nickel exploration in the Mid-Continent Rift terrain of Ontario. Under the terms of the strategic alliance agreement, Impala will directly fund HTX's Nickel-PGE Ontario project generation activities over three years. During the term, Impala will retain the right to earn an interest in the exploration properties.

HTX Minerals Corp is a privately held company that was incorporated in late 2007. Its primary focus is the exploration for nickel, copper and platinum group metals ore within North America.
