Rum Jungle Uranium Limited (ASX:RUM) Exploration Update November 5 2010

Perth, Nov 5, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Rum Jungle Uranium Limited (googlechartASX:RUM) is pleased to provide exploration update ending November 5 2010.

Ammaroo Phosphate (RUM earning up to 70%)

First pass and infill drilling at Ammaroo was completed on Saturday October 30 with 72 holes drilled for 3564m.

Over 700 samples were freighted back to Darwin and have been submitted to the AMDEL sample preparation facility at East Arm. Samples will be assayed for phosphate by XRF finish with selected duplicate samples also being assayed by ICP-OES analysis for comparison. It is anticipated the bulk of results will be reported by the end of the month with some higher priority/higher grade samples possibly reported earlier. A follow up drill program may be conducted in December depending on results, rig availability and weather.

Ross River - Tommy's Gap (RUM 100%)

Assay results from the Tommy's Gap drilling and rock chip sampling on other parts of EL24917 have been received from the laboratory. Best results from Tommy's Gap RC drilling are:

- 4m @ 0.11 g/t Au from 20-24m in hole TGRC002

- 2m @ 0.13% Cu from 14-26m in hole TGRC003

- 3m @ 0.22% Cu from 42-45m in hole TGRC004

- 4m @ 0.4% Cu from 37-41m in hole TGRC005

- 2m @ 0.16% Cu from 16-18m in hole TGRC008
Whilst drill results were disappointing at Tommy's Gap, the area is still considered prospective. Further drilling is not planned until more sampling and mapping is done and geophysical surveys have been flown. Quotes are currently being sought for these surveys.

At the Black Knob iron prospect located about 1km north east of Tommy's Gap, rock chip samples have returned high grade iron:

- 62.2% Fe in sample 4947

- 62.7% Fe in sample 4979

- 61.6% Fe in sample 4991

- 54.3% Fe in sample 4948

Approximately 500m east of Black Knob at Tommy's Heights, a new outcropping copper zone has been found with best rock chip samples:

- 9.44% Cu, 115 ppm Ag and 59 ppb Au in sample 5492

- 0.84% Cu, 115 ppm Ni and 48 ppb Au in sample 5493

Near the eastern end of EL24917, approximately 30km east of Tommy's Gap towards Mithril's Blackadder prospect, an outcropping gossan in ultra-basic rocks assayed:

160 ppb Pt, 325 ppb Pd, 0.16% Cu and 0.12% Ni in sample 10601

This area will be further investigated on the ground in coming weeks.

At the newly discovered uranium prospect, 20km east of Tommy's Gap where a previous rock chip sample assayed 338 ppm U308, better results from composite grab sampling across strike in October sampling were:

- 324 ppm U3O8 in sample 10606

- 200 ppm U3O8 in sample 10605

This prospect will also be further sampled and prospected during a field visit in coming weeks but is considered prospective as mineralization outcrops at surface and appears to be stratigraphically controlled.

Mount Bundy (RUM 100%)

A twelve hole RC drill program commenced yesterday at Mount Bundy after some delays due to mechanical problems with the drill rig. The drill program is targeting geochemical, radiometric and VTEM anomalies at three target areas called Black Cockatoo, Hardies and Anniversary Breccia West. Drilling should take two weeks to complete with the short term weather forecast looking OK. When completed the drill rig will mobilize to Tennant Creek.

Tennant Creek (RUM interest varies up to 100%)

A ten hole RC drill program will commence at Tennant Creek in the second half of November. Drilling is targeting a uranium geochemical and structural target on EL27128, whilst multiple ground gravity, airborne magnetic and geochemical anomalies are targeted on EL24835.

Karinga Creek Potash (RUM 50%)

The Air Core rig which recently completed the Ammaroo Phosphate drilling is scheduled to commence drilling around Curtin Springs to sample salt water brine on EL25080 and EL24987 in about 10-12 days time. Drilling is targeting palaeochannels and salt water aquifers surrounding salt lakes to determine their potassium, magnesium and sulphate content. Drilling should take 5-6 days to complete.
