Brisbane, July 14, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Linc Energy Limited (ASX:LNC)(PINK:LNCGY) announces that the Company has appointed Daryl Rattai to the position of General Manager of the Underground Coal Gasification division commencing on Monday, 3rd August 2009.
Daryl has over 20 years experience across a range of companies in the Oil & Gas industry throughout Canada, USA, Australia and other locations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta as well as a Petroleum Technology Diploma. He is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
Daryl's most recent role was with SunOcean Energy Ltd for five years where he progressed through a variety of senior positions to Vice President Operations. At SunOcean Energy, Daryl managed corporate operations for this oil and gas exploration and production company. He was responsible for managing capital projects and production operations producing natural gas, light oil and associated liquids rich gas from wells ranging in depth from 400 to 3,500 metres.
