Conquest Mining Limited (ASX:CQT)
Perth, April 22, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Conquest Mining Limited (ASX:CQT)(PINK:CQMLF) has completed the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) at the Mt Carlton Project in north Queensland with updated resource estimates on the Silver Hill gold-silver-copper deposit improving confidence. The PFS results demonstrate that the project economics are robust; subsequently the Conquest board has commissioned a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) prior to a final decision to commence production.
Gold Fields Australasia Pty Ltd (GFA) received all results from their infill drilling at the Silver Hill Deposit. This work was planned to assist GFA apply concepts and knowledge from the Silver Hill Deposit to prospects within the Regional Joint Venture.
No drilling was carried out during the March Quarter.
