The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) is the largest European aerospace corporation that designs, manufacturers and markets civil and military aircraft, as well as missiles, space rockets, satellites, and related systems. Major EADS aerospace companies are: Airbus (large civil aircraft); Defence & Security Military Air Systems (military aircraft); Eurocopter (civil and military helicopters), and; Astrium (launch vehicles spacecraft). The letters from Airbus, Military Air Systems and the Innovation Works overview the maturity and utility of the Company’s Comparative Vacuum Monitoring (CVM(TM)) technology and products, and their importance to their on-going structural test, civil and military aircraft Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) programs, and potential benefit to future aircraft structural design..
