Vizrt Ltd. (OSL:VIZ) Sales in Thailand this year over USD 3 million

Channel 9 in Bangkok, Thailand, recently used the Vizrt's MPS' client for their online coverage of the election that took place on Sunday 5th this month. This is Vizrt's first commercial deal with an MPS client and the project was so successful that the channel also will use it for the US presidential election next month.
The MPS client is named and branded "Vizky" and it is basically a scaled down Viz|Engine that creates the same real time 3d graphics on-line as viewers are used to on TV. The first Vizky-project was a test with TV2 Norway on "Who wants to be a millionaire" where the channel created an interactive on-line version of the game show. "We are happy we finally got the product to the market. Our patent-protected product has the ability to change the online business and our focus now is to try it out live in various concepts around the world," says president and CEO of Vizrt, Bjarne Berg. The MPS project was developed at Vizrt's R&D facility in Bangkok and led by one of the founders of the Viz|Engine, Hubert Oehm.
The Bangkok office has been a great success for Vizrt. During the recent election Vizrt were the main supplier for Channel 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. So far in 2008 the revenue to Thai customers exceeds USD 3 million out of which 1.5 USD was in Q3.
