Öhman Resigns As Primary Dealer

Riksgälden Öhman resigns as primary dealer in nominal and inflation-linked government bonds.

Öhman has been primary dealer since 1988. Öhman has made valuable contributions to the government bond market, not at least in the creation of the inflation-linked market.

"It is with loss we lose a speaking partner with such a solid experience and knowledge of the Swedish fixed-income market", says Maria Norström, Deputy Head of Funding, in a comment to the decision by Öhman.

The Debt Office's primary dealers are now: ABN Amro (nominal government bonds, T-bills) Barclays Capital (nominal government bonds) Danske Markets/Consensus (nominal and inflation-linked government bonds, T-bills) Handelsbanken Markets (nominal and inflation-linked government bonds, T-bills) Nordea (nominal and inflation-linked government bonds, T-bills SEB (nominal and inflation-linked government bonds, T-bills) Swedbank (nominal and inflation-linked government bonds, T-bills)
