Perth, Feb 15, 2008 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Empire Oil & Gas N.L. (ASX: EGO) - MORIARY-1, EP 426, NORTH PERTH BASIN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA - for the Period 0600 hrs 14 February 2008 to 0600 hrs 15 February 2008.
During the 24-hour period, Moriary-1 was drilled ahead from 512 metres to 616 metres. The current operations at 0600 hrs on 15 February 2008 is preparing to run and cement 9 5/8" (244mm) casing.
Methane gas increasing in shaley section of the Yarragadee to maximum 16 units and up to 10, 668 ppm C1 (methane). 34 units of C1 trip gas recorded from 616m from wiper trip.
