Field Public Relations Stock Market Press Releases and Company Profile

Adelaide, Aug 18, 2006 AEST (ABN Newswire) - The Company is pleased to announce that milling of its first parcel of high grade ore from the Burbanks Gold Project in WA has commenced, with first gold expected to be poured on Monday of next week (21 August 2006).

The treatment of ore from Burbanks - eight kilometres southwest of Coolgardie - has commenced ahead of schedule and follows two months of solid underground development, accessing both the Tailor and Wahloo shoots via the North and South declines.

The Burbanks operation has exceeded company expectations in terms of ounces of gold mined with high grade ore sourced from the Tailor shoot to date already delivering well above budget ounces for the month of August.

The Company has also commenced strike driving of the high grade Wahloo Shoot with initial grade and widths of the lode exceeding ore resource model predictions.

Underground diamond drilling of the extensions to Wahloo shoot is currently underway with results expected to be released in the coming fortnight.
