Olympia Resources' Keysbrook Mine
Olympia Resources' Keysbrook Mine

Sydney, Nov 8, 2005 (ABN Newswire) - Olympia Resources (ASX: OLY) was incorporated in 1997 to carry out exploration and develop mineral deposits within Australia into profitable mining operations.

Initially Olympia concentrated on developing the Harts Range Abrasives deposit near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. In 2003 Olympia discovered the Keysbrook mineral sands deposit in the Southwest of Western Australia.

Both the Harts Range Abrasive Project and the Keysbrook Mineral Sands Project are now close to becoming operational mines. Olympia plans to start mining operations at Harts Range in 2006 and mining at Keysbrook in late 2006.

In addition to Keysbrook, Olympia has identified mineral sands resources at Pinjarra, Coolup and Ambergate in the southwest of Western Australia and is undertaking exploration to identify further resources in this well established mineral sands mining province.

Olympia has recently applied for exploration tenements in the Eucla Basin and will begin exploration there once the tenements have been granted.

Anomolous gold and base mineral mineralisation was discovered at Bruce's Copper Prospect on an Olympia exploration tenement in the Northern Territory. Olympia is undertaking exploration to determine the potential of this site.

Olympia was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in August 2004.
