Vizrt Ltd. (OSL:VIZ) Tore Sviland Joins Board Of Directors

Following Mr. Reidar Michaelsen's decision to step down from his position on the Board of Directors of Vizrt, a vacancy arose that, according to the applicable corporate rules and regulations, can be filled subject to a carried resolution by the remaining Board members.

In accordance with this regulation, Mr. Tore Sviland was elected unanimously as a new member of Vizrt's Board of Directors. He will serve on the Board until the next Annual General Meeting of shareholders.

Mr. Sviland has a degree from The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen and is therefore qualified to serve in any capacity on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Sviland controls a total of 661,677 shares in Vizrt, Ltd. through ownerships in the following two Norwegian companies: Delta Invest AS, with 222,749 shares, and Pelmentes AS, with 438,928 shares. Mr. Sviland further serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian company Web Publishing Holding AS, which owns 290,869 shares in Vizrt, Ltd. Mr. Sviland does not hold a controlling interest in that company.
