Cobalt Blue Holdings Limited (ASX:COB) (FRA:COH) (OTCMKTS:CBBHF) has been awarded $15m* through the Critical Minerals Accelerator Initiative (CMAI) for the Broken Hill Cobalt Project (BHCP) by the Australian Government.

The awarding of Major Project Status provides Cobalt Blue Holdings Limited (ASX:COB) with extra support from the Major Project Facilitation Office Agency, including a single-entry point for Australian Government approvals, project support and coordination with State approvals.

The Cobalt Blue Holdings Ltd ((ASX:COB) CEO and locally based Broken Hill Cobalt Project team were delighted to host the NSW Deputy Premier on 20th April 2022 for the launch of the NSW Government Mine Waste Re-Use Initiative.

The Hon Dan Tehan, Australian Government Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment led an Australia - United States Critical Minerals delegation during 29 March - 1 April. Cobalt Blue (COB) is thrilled to have participated in these discussions.

Unlike the traditional cobalt mining model, Cobalt Blue Holdings Limited (ASX:COB) (FRA:COH) (OTCMKTS:CBBHF) is an integrated refinery model capable of delivering first an intermediate Mixed Hydroxide product (MHP), which subsequently can be further refined into battery grade cobalt sulphate.

Cobalt Blue Holdings (ASX:COB) (FRA:COH) (OTCMKTS:CBBHF) and Broken Hill Prospecting (BPL) have agreed on the terms for COB to acquire 100% Ownership and Legal Title of the Broken Hill (Thackaringa) Cobalt Project.

Since the publication of the Pre-Feasibility Study completed in June 2018, Cobalt Blue Holdings (ASX:COB) (OTCMKTS:CBBHF) has continued a series of metallurgical testwork programs. These include optimisation of process parameters along with scaling up testwork equipment to demonstration/commercial sized plant.
