Gold explorer Beadell Resources Limited (ASX:BDR) said it has agreed to sell the Amapa Iron Ore Royalty for A$31.25 million cash to the global natural resources royalties company, Anglo Pacific Group (LON:APF)(TSE:APY).
As part of Meteoric Resources' (ASX:MEI) ongoing assessment of iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) targets in the Webb area of the West Arunta region of WA, Meteoric is preparing to carry out detailed airborne magnetic surveys on several of these target areas. The aeromagnetic surveys, which are subject to permitting processes normal for aboriginal reserves, together with gravity surveys, will be used to define drilling targets on several IOCG prospects.
Meteoric Resources NL (ASX:MEI) announce, following the grant of its main (northern) exploration licence at Webb in the West Arunta region of WA, Meteoric Resources has carried out geochemical sampling, RAB drilling and gravity surveys on its 100%-owned tenement and on nearby tenements where Meteoric may earn up to a 70% interest.
Analysis of geochemical samples from tenements held by the Meteoric Resources NL (ASX:MEI) - Beadell Resources (ASX:BDR) joint venture (MEI ASX release of 31 August 2009) has identified a potentially significant 7km-long gold anomaly in the southern part of Meteoric's Webb project in the west Arunta region of WA.
Meteoric Resources NL (ASX:MEI) has reached agreement in principle with Beadell Resources Limited (ASX: BDR) for a joint venture on four granted exploration licences (E80/3820, 3821, 3822 and 3823) totalling 840sq km close to Meteoric's Webb gold project in the West Arunta region of WA. This agreement significantly expands Meteoric's interests in the unexplored and highly prospective West Arunta region where targets now include a major 80sq km gold anomaly and at least six coincident magnetic-gravity IOCG-type anomalies.
