Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) is pleased to report the results from recent drilling and geophysical programs at the Mt Carrington Project, NSW, conducted during the period July to August 2009, including the All Nations copper prospect, and the White Rock North silver prospect.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) has completed a new high-resolution airborne electromagnetic (EM) program over its 100% owned Hillside copper-gold prospect on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. Initial results from this survey show that there are three distinct anomalous zones, all of which are interpreted to be shallow, conductive bodies potentially associated with copper sulphide mineralisation.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) has received further encouraging assay results from a drilling program to test the continuation of high-grade mineralisation at its 100% owned Hillside copper project on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) has commenced exploration drilling at its 100% owned White Rock project at Mt Carrington in NSW following the completion of a geophysical survey which identified a new large scale target located underneath the White Rock and White Rock North projects.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) has completed a new, high-resolution aeromagnetic survey over its 100% owned Hillside copper-gold prospect on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. The results from this survey show that there are three major features (interpreted to be magnetite rich structures) which extend in a northerly direction that were not clearly defined in the previous magnetic survey. An important observation of the new survey is that the highest intensity magnetic feature has not been drill tested.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) has received preliminary assay results from a drill hole (HDD033) on its 100% owned Hillside copper project on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. The results included sections of very high grade copper (up to 21%) within a total intersection of 200m @ 1.0% copper and 0.2g/t gold from 140m down hole.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) has raised A$11.1 million over the past four months to accelerate its exploration and development programmes in South Australia and New South Wales. Significant drilling results were returned from the Hillside prospect and Parara (12kms from Hillside) on the Pine Point Copper Belt of South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. The securing in mid-July of two diamond drill rigs for continuous use over the next 12 months will increase exploration momentum.

Rex Minerals Limited (ASX:RXM) is pleased to report further drilling results from two holes at the Hillside copper-gold project in the Pine Point Copper Belt on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. These results have identified the southern extension of the mineralisation previously reported from drill hole HDD018 of 259m @ 1.7% copper and 0.4g/t gold (announced 12 January 2009).
