Nordea Lauri Peltola, 45, has been appointed Nordea's new Head of Group Identity and Communications as of 1 September 2008. He will succeed Torben Laustsen who has been appointed Deputy Head of Banking in Denmark.

Nordea The Baltics now show clear signs of a slowdown, while the outlook still seems bright for Poland and Russia. This creates new opportunities for Nordic companies operating in the region. Nordea Nordea has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to sell its 24.82% holding in NCSD Holding AB (Nordic Central Securities Depository). The shares will be acquired by Euroclear PLC.
