Neste Oil Oyj (PINKSHEETS:NTOIF) Neste Oil's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Petri Pentti, will leave the company at the end of September to take up a position as CFO of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) in Dubai. Neste Oil's Corporate Controller, Risto Takkala, will take over Pentti's duties as of 1 October until a successor is appointed.

Neste Oil Oyj (PINKSHEETS:NTOIF) Finland's Neste Oil Corporation, Bahrain's Oil & Gas Holding Company (OGHC) and the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) have decided to establish a joint venture known as the Bahrain Base Oil Company to build a high-quality lubricant base oils plant in Bahrain. The plant will have an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of VHVI (Very High Viscosity Index) base oil for use in blending top-tier lubricants. It will be one of the world's largest VHVI base oil plants when it begins production, which is scheduled for the end of 2011.

Neste Oil Oyj (PINKSHEETS:NTOIF) Neste Oil is to build an 800,000 t/a plant to produce NExBTL renewable diesel in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Construction will start immediately and the facility is scheduled to be completed in 2011. Total cost of the investment is projected to be €670 million. Neste Oil announced its decision to go ahead with a similar-sized plant in Singapore in November 2007. Both plants are linked to Neste Oil's goal of becoming the world's leading producer of renewable diesel fuel.

Neste Oil Oyj (PINKSHEETS:NTOIF) Neste Oil restarted the new diesel line (PL4) at its Porvoo refinery as planned during the last week of May, following the completion of repair work after a fire at the beginning of April. Neste Oil Oyj (PINKSHEETS:NTOIF) Neste Oil has decided to build a new isomerization unit, costing approximately EUR 80 million, at its Porvoo refinery. The new unit will be capable of processing 600,000 t/a of existing gasoline fractions into higher-value, premium-quality gasoline, and will increase the refinery's total gasoline output by 200,000 t/a.
