Pryme Energy Limited's (ASX:PYM) Rosewood Plantation 21H No.1 well continues drilling horizontally and is currently at a measured depth of 17,650 feet (5,380 metres). The planned total measured depth of the well is 20,310 feet (6,190 metres) with drilling expected to be completed within the next 10 days. A slotted or perforated production liner will be installed once drilling of the lateral is complete; this will be followed by production flow testing.

Building the radius to establish the horizontal leg of the well in the Austin Chalk formation is almost complete with the final few degrees of the radius to be drilled with a rotary steerable drilling assembly. This drilling assembly will also be used to drill the remainder of the lateral which should begin in the next few hours.

We are currently working our way out of the hole following a scheduled conditioning run which is designed to clean the hole prior to running the intermediate casing.

The next stage of operations involves installation and cementing the intermediate casing which will run from the surface to just below the top of the Austin Chalk. Following this, drilling of the planned 5,000 foot (1,524 metre) lateral within the Austin Chalk formation, at a total vertical depth of 15,380 feet (4,687 metres), will commence.

Pryme Energy Limited's (ASX:PYM) Rosewood Plantation 21H No.1 well has been successfully deviated at a depth of approximately 4,000 feet and is drilling ahead at 6,280 feet (1,914 metres) towards the top of the Austin Chalk formation.
