In a strong cash position, KGL Resources Limited (ASX:KGL) (OTCMKTS:KGOLF) extended its intensive exploration drilling activity during the June quarter at the Jervois copper-silvergold project in the Northern Territory.

KGL Resources (ASX:KGL) report near surface drilling at Jervois encounters up to 50.9% lead in a 6m interval averaging 37.7% lead and 551g/t silver Drilling of near surface mineralisation at the Reward deposit encountered high grades of lead mineralisation previously reported that exceeded the assay method limit of 20% lead.

Simon Milroy, the Managing Director of KGL Resources, commented: "The shape of Bellbird's mineralisation is looking very amenable to open pit mining. I anticipate this will be borne out by the open pit and underground mine optimisation work that commences next month."

KGL Resources Limited (ASX:KGL) completed a shallow reverse circulation drilling program in May-June and comprised 177 holes for 9,653m. The majority of the holes were drilled at the Marshall-Reward and Bellbird deposits where 59 and 56 holes were drilled respectively.
