Image Resources NL

The directors of Image Resources (ASX: IMA) are pleased to report that the Emu Nickel NL initial public offering (proposed ASX code: EMU), has closed after raising $10 million. The raising has been achieved despite difficult market conditions and indicates the extent of support for the spin-out of quality nickel assets from Image, allowing Image to focus on its core heavy mineral projects.

A new large magnetic target, interpreted to be channel style mineralisation, some 18km in length averaging 500m in width identified at Bidaminna. The target is parallel to the Bidaminna Inferred Resource (44Mt @ 3% HM) which is 6km long and 400m wide, indicating scope to significantly increase the resource.

Image Resources (ASX: IMA) wishes to confirm the classification of the Bidaminna resource referred to in yesterday's ASX release. The Bidaminna resource was drilled and reported on by Geopeko (a subsidiary of Peko Exploration Ltd) in 1992 (Annual Report, Cataby Joint Venture, August 1992). Image has previously referred to Bidaminna as an Inferred Resource (ASX release 15 July 2005).

Image Resources Limited (ASX: IMA) Announce that following reprocessing of geophysical data and reinterpretation of drilling results over the Bidaminna Resource, Image has outlined a very large channel/strand target at Bidaminna which is 18km long and averages 500m in width with sections up to 1km in width. This target is much larger than the channels drilled to date at Cooljarloo which at this stage total some 9km in length.
