The first phase of aircore drilling at Image Resource's NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) 100%-owned Serpentine Lakes tenements in the Eucla Basin in Western Australia has been completed (210 holes totalling 8,497m).

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) is pleased to announce that the 95 sq km Gingin tenement E70/3032 in the North Perth Basin has been granted and a number of access agreements have already been signed paving the way for a drilling programme to begin in December. Geophysical surveys carried out by Image have identified at least 45km of new targets, one of which is over 8.6km in length and 0.35km wide.

As previously announced (June 2008 quarterly report), Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) is carrying out a scoping study on the company's existing Indicated and Inferred Resources totaling 6.4 million tonnes of heavy minerals in the North Perth Basin. Mining industry consultants have been engaged to identify potential mining options for the resources, with a brief to address both dry mining and dredging methods.

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) is pleased to announce that it has agreed to enter a joint venture with Matilda Minerals Limited (MAL) over exploration licence application E70/3292, which adjoins the tenements comprising Image's joint venture with Metal Sands Pty Ltd at Cooljarloo.

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) is pleased to announce a joint venture on its 230sq km 100%-owned Bronco Plains gold project situated 140km east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Image Resources (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) is pleased to announce the commencement of a 10,000m - 15,000m programme of air core drilling on its promising Eucla Basin tenements (466sq km) at the end of August. The programme has two areas of focus: the strike extension of the recent zircon rich Cyclone discovery on an adjoining tenement and several other exciting targets within the broad 28 km x 9 km area of prospectivity.
