Linc Energy Limited (ASX:LNC) Appointment Of Chief Financial Officer Mr Anton Rohner
Brisbane, Oct 16, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Linc Energy Limited (ASX:LNC)(PINK:LNCGY) is pleased to announce that Mr Anton Rohner has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company and will commence in November 2009.
Mr Rohner brings over 19 years experience to the role; the most recent 10 years being in the energy industry, and prior to this in the Mining and Resources sector.
Anton joins Linc Energy from Macquarie Bank, where for the past 2 years he has held the position of Managing Director for Renewable Energy and Utilities and been responsible for securing developments in renewable energy and utilities through Asia and Africa.
Prior to this, Anton was the Managing Director of Asia for Roaring 40s, a partnership formed between China Light & Power and Hydro Tasmania to develop and operate sources of renewable energy. In this role Anton was responsible for all investments and activities in the Asia region as well as financing and operating responsibilities.
Mr Rohner also worked for Hydro Tasmania for a period of 6 years as their Group Manager Finance and Investment, and prior to this held various commercial and accounting roles in the mining sector. Mr Rohner is a full member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, as well as a Certified Practicing Accountant.
