Adelaide, May 8, 2006 AEST (ABN Newswire) - PepinNini Minerals Limited (ASX: PNN) is planning an expanded drilling program in South Australia's Musgrave Province following the discovery of massive sulphides at the Mt Harcus Prospect.

Disseminated and massive primary sulphide mineralisation has been intersected in five of the fourteen boreholes of a drilling program just completed at PepinNini's Mt Harcus Prospect.

"The drilling results at Mt Harcus represent the most significant sulphide discovery reported to date in the Musgrave Province of South Australia," PepinNini Managing Director, Mr Norman Kennedy, said today.

"The presence of substantial thicknesses of sulphide bearing mafic rocks with potential of containing economically significant concentrations of nickel and copper is very encouraging. This initial result confirms the prospectivity of the area for Voisey's Bay style mineralisation," he said.

Mr Kennedy said routine mineralogical analysis of samples collected from all fourteen boreholes at Mt Harcus will commence shortly and will provide the data to plan an expanded drilling program.

"Preliminary petrographic examination by a NATA registered laboratory of one sample has confirmed the dominant sulphide as pyrrhotite with associated chalcopyrite and another unidentified sulphide. An anomalous copper content of 0.44% together with an elevated nickel content of 0.12% and 407 parts per milllion of cobalt has been assayed for the same sample," Mr Kennedy said.

"An extended program of cored drilling will commence as soon as possible to further investigate the newly identified mineralisation as well as other potential trap sites where additional mineralisation may concentrate," he said.

PepinNini has also commenced a seven hole drilling program at its Mt Moulden prospect, in the Musgrave Province, which is also targeting nickel and copper.

The current drilling program is being undertaken in collaboration with the South Australian Government which is contributing towards the direct drilling costs under the PACE initiative. PepinNini Minerals intends to conduct downhole electromagnetic surveys on boreholes drilled at Harcus to better define the extent of sulphide mineralisation.
