Pronova BioPharma ASA (OSL:PRON) 9 January 2009, Lysaker, Norway: Pronova BioPharma ASA (OSE: PRON.OL) ("Pronova BioPharma" or the "company") today announces changes in the group's management team structure in order to create a stronger focus on group management, simplify the reporting structure, and to ensure better alignment of staff functions, line management and cross-functional/cross-border issues.

The new manufacturing site in Kalundborg, Denmark requires a coordination of activites across the manufacturing sites in Sandefjord, Norway and Kalundborg. Pronova BioPharma also wants a closer integration of all supply chain activities, including manufacturing, manufacturing development, process development, purchasing and logistics.
Kjetil Olsen (previously vice president manufacturing development) is appointed senior vice president supply chain.

The following changes will also be implemented:

Göran Gannedahl (previously director medical affairs) is appointed vice president medical and regulatory affairs and research & development.

Else-Marie Haram (previously vice president quality assurance) is appointed vice president quality affairs, with responsibility for quality assurance and quality control.
