USG People NV (AMS:USG) Named fastest-growing large company in Flevoland province for second year running.

Almere 19 November 2008 - USG People announced that it was yesterday named winner of the 2008 FD Gazellen Award for Flevoland province, coming top out of 676 nominees. This is the fifth year that Dutch financial daily Het Financieele Dagblad has presented the awards to the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. USG People received the prize yesterday at a celebratory gathering for the Central Netherlands region (provinces of Utrecht and Flevoland) in Utrecht.

The Awards are presented to the winners in the following three categories in each province: 'small' (revenue of € 100,000 - € 2 mln), 'medium-sized' (revenue of € 2 mln - € 30 mln) and 'large' (revenue of € 30 mln and over). USG People was named winner in the category 'large'. While the main criterion is revenue growth, the FD also considers criteria such as earnings development and financial health.

"I am very honoured and proud to receive the FD Gazellen Award for the second time. This recognition for our organisation, and therefore our people, is much appreciated by all our employees.
