Compagnie Financière Tradition reported strong growth in business activities in the first nine months of 2008, with consolidated turnover up 10.0% at current exchange rates, to CHF 1,166.4 million, against CHF 1,060.8 million a year ago. This represents a rise of 24.0% at constant exchange rates.

Third-quarter consolidated turnover eased 1.6% to CHF 378.1 million compared with Q3 2007, when the Group's activities reached a record level. At constant exchange rates, quarterly turnover was up by 10.6%.

In terms of geographic spread, the United Kingdom and the American continent are still the Group's major revenue generators, contributing 34.9% and 34.5% of turnover respectively in the nine months to 30 September 2008, against 35.1% and 32.5% in 2007. Asia accounted for 21.2% and continental Europe 9.4% of Group revenues, against 20.9% and 11.5% respectively a year ago.
