Japanese firm and Scalado improve performance of multi-megapixel mobile image handling

Lund and Tokyo, 14 October 2008 - Scalado, the leader in mobile imaging software solutions, and Shikino High-Tech Co. Ltd., a successful JPEG IP provider, has today announced the first JPEG IP core supporting the Scalado SpeedTags(TM) technology in Japan. The partnership and integration of the SpeedTags(TM) technology comes as a result of direct interest from both Scalado's and Shikino's customers.
