In times of great turbulence on the stock markets while news about financial institutions dominates the media coverage, the stock rates of many companies are presently under disproportionately great pressure. Also the shares of BÖWE SYSTEC have suffered from the general plunge in the international markets in recent weeks and had to endure a significant loss in value that has nothing to do with the operative business development.

That's why BÖWE SYSTEC will take advantage of the North Europe Midcap Event taking place in Paris on October 16th and 17th, 2008 in order to present the company to investors and interested parties. There the Management Board will provide information on the current fiscal year as well as the mid-term objectives and also respond to questions. The Interim Report for the third quarter of 2008 will be published on November 6, 2008 as intended.

Due to the international nature of our business the operative development of the BÖWE Group strongly depends on currency exchange rates. While stock markets experience a downwards trend, the value of the US-dollar against the Euro has recovered. That's why in the medium term the international competitiveness of BÖWE products that are manufactured in Europe will increase.
