The Komax Group landed various orders worth over CHF 30 million at the photovoltaic industry's leading annual trade fair in Valencia. These included a major order to outfit a 160 megawatt modules factory for German customer Algatec Solar AG. Komax will be supplying Algatec with parts lines for the automatic production of crystalline solar modules, including stringer and layup systems. The Group also attracted various orders for its new bussing system for thin-film modules in the run-up to the fair.

Overall the exhibition was a great success. As well as presenting its new XCell 3400 stringer, which was coupled to a layup system at the exhibition, Komax also displayed a string tester for crystalline modules. The Group also presented a new bussing system for fitting contacts to thin-film modules. These new orders underscore the Komax Group's solid market position in photovoltaics.
