The aluminum high-pressure die-caster ALMEC SpA is based in Nusco, Italy and delivers high quality engine and transmission components to FIAT, PIAGGO, GETRAG FORD TRANSMISSIONS and GENERAL MOTORS. BAVARIA Industriekapital AG acquired the company in August 2007 from PRIMA Group in Frosinone and METEC in Torino (both Italy).

TECNOCONTROL Srl, an Italian automotive machining and finishing company, acquired ALMEC SpA through its subsidiary Industrie Meccaniche Caponi (IMC) Srl. IMC plans to continue the implementation of the process and quality improvements initiated by Bavaria Group - which had already returned Almec to EBITDA profitability.
