Swiss WorldCargo Announces An Organizational Restructuring

Zürich-Flughafen, Switzerland, Jan 29, 2008 - (ABN Newswire) - Zurich - Switzerland: Swiss WorldCargo, the air cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd., announces a recent organizational restructuring with the appointment of Ashwin Bhat as Managing Director Transportation Management and Bernd Maresch as Director Marketing & Strategy.

Ashwin Bhat, formerly Managing Director Contribution Management at Swiss WorldCargo, has additionally taken over the responsibility for Operations in the newly created department Transportation Management. The department brings together the steering, procurement and process function as well as all the quality and accounting issues. Bhat takes over the responsibility or Operations, from Markus Vetsch, who has left Swiss WorldCargo to take up a new challenge at Zurich Airport.

In his new position of Director Marketing and Strategy, Bernd Maresch is now responsible for the further development of Swiss WorldCargo in terms of Product Development and Management. In this new function, he is supported by experienced product managers for Swiss Celsius, Swiss Valuables, Swiss X-Presso, Swiss Argus and Swiss Mail. Furthermore, his team comprises the Product Account & Service Center for Special Products. Among his responsibilities, are furthermore Internal and External Communications, the global customer survey and customer communication as well as the strategic development of Swiss WorldCargo. Maresch takes over the responsibility for Special Products from Adolfo Liguori who has recently been appointed Director Cargo Sales for Switzerland.
